What a year 2018 was a vibrant year in the South African tech space. Lots of moves were made by local Geeks. It was a year where a first cabinet-approved Hackathon was hosted in South Africa, Minister Ayanda Dlodlo of the Department of Public Service and Administration also coded with C# to launch IgniteHack.


Certainly a stamina boost for the local ecosystem to see Government officials mix-up in a platform to build solutions that matters.
