The South African tech ecosystem grows at own pace with various activities taking place on the ground. We need to assess, monitor, nurture, account, guide and forecast the grow of the digital ecosystem. #AutumnDevDays is a 5-day event of Coding creating an enabling environment (online and physical) for local techies to connect and build capacity on their Data skills.
Physical event (04 May) Information:
- Venue: The Innovation Hub, Pretoria
- Time: 09:00 - 17:00
- Target: Aspiring developers, high school learners, designers, government officials/techies, adults, etc.

Work on your idea at #AutumnDevDays
Tshimologong Makerspace seeks to promote and enable access to innovation through collaborative making, training, upskilling and experimentation/purposeful play (R&D).
Some of the practical engagements housed in the space include Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as 3D printing (e.g. prototyping & customization), IoT (Internet of Things), electronics & robotics; Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR); and design for digital fabrication.
*CHALLENGE: Collect Data from connected things
A MakerCorner will be setup at #AutumnDevDays to help participants build sensor-based solutions, collect Data, visualize and provide action.*
The SqwidNet Unashield modules are available for your use as well as tools from the Makerspace. Let's get making, create and make sense out of Data.
What will you make? Let it make impact for the masses. At the heart of the 4th Industrial Revolution, are 'Connected Things' and this means a load of Data will be created/generated, there is a need for one to build capacity in the management of this Data.
